In the first part of the day we explore the fascinating world of Los Haitises National Park. This park is one of the Dominican Republic's most spectacular natural treasures, full of pristine mangrove forests, mysterious caves and rich biodiversity.

In the first part of the day, after a long drive, we explore the fascinating world of Los Haitises National Park. This park is one of the Dominican Republic's most spectacular natural treasures, full of pristine mangrove forests, mysterious caves and abundant wildlife.
With the help of our guide, we will explore the most beautiful parts of the park, including the Taino Caves, where you can see ancient rock paintings. A boat tour will take you on a closer look at the mangrove forests and the aquatic life of the park.
The next stop on the tour is the Caño Hondo Eco Hotel, located in the heart of Los Haitises National Park. Here we will rest and enjoy a delicious lunch.
After the hike, we arrive at the Caño Hondo Eco-hotel for a short walk around the area.
A lunch with a taste of local flavours, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Lunch will be served in the embrace of the hotel's beautiful natural pools, where you can relax and refresh in the fresh mountain water after lunch.
The day concludes with a visit to Montaña Redonda, also known as the Round Mountain, famous for its breathtaking panoramic views and natural beauty.
The drive up the mountain is an exciting one, made in an open-sided truck. Already on the way, the views are spectacular.
From the top, you can enjoy a unique 360-degree panorama of the surrounding landscape, including lagoons, rice paddies, mountains and the ocean.
